PRESENTERS
Sara Holbrook is the author of over 20 books for children, adults, and teachers as well as an award-winning performance poet. Sara’s most recent middle- grade novel, The Enemy, Detroit, 1954, is the 2018 winner of the Jane Addams Peace Prize. She is the co-author of  ve teacher professional books with Michael Salinger: From Striving to Thriving for Writers: Strategies that Jumpstart Writing (Scholastic 2018), Practical Poetry (Heinemann, 2005), Outspoken: Improving Literacy Skills through Poetry Performance (Heinemann, 2006), High Definition: Memorable Vocabulary Instruction (Heinemann, 2009), and High Impact Writing Clinics (Corwin, 2013). Rhonda Jenkins has been in her school district for 20 years. She has taught third grade,  fth grade, and served as a reading specialist at the high-school level. Currently, she is the library media center director at Kendall Elementary School
in Naperville, Illinois. Her current position is a marriage of everything she loves: books, technology, students, making, and teaching! She is a true technology nerd. She’s a Certifed Google Trainer and a Microsoft Innovative Educator. She’s also an avid reader and loves languages, gardening, remodeling, and learning! Lindsey Kimery is the librarian at Woodland Middle School in Brentwood, Tennessee. She is secretary and advocacy chair of the Tennessee Association of School Librarians, co-chair of Library Legislative Day for the Tennessee Library Association, and vice president of the Southeastern Young Adult Book Festival. She was awarded Teacher of the Year twice at Woodland Middle School and is the recipient of TLA’s Louise Meredith School Library Media Award. A former English teacher and long-time librarian, she blends her love for teaching and for libraries in her work, and shares ideas and inspiration for school libraries on her blog LibraryStile. Donalyn Miller is a leading expert on independent reading, children’s literature, and the author of two best-sellers, The Book Whisperer and Reading in the Wild. She is founder of the annual #bookaday event, co-founder with Colby Sharp of The Nerdy Book Club, and co-host of the monthly Twitter chat, #titletalk. Her most recent book is co-authored with Colby Sharp, Game Changer! Book Access for All Kids.
