ANGELA CERVANTES is the author of several beloved contemporary middle-grade novels, including: Gaby, Lost and Found; Allie, First at
Last; Me, Frida and the Secret of the Peacock Ring; Coco: The Junior Novelization that accompanied the 2017 blockbuster Disney/Pixar movie; and her newest middle-grade novel, Lety Out Loud (Scholastic). Angela began writing her stories featuring Latina main characters when she was nine years old because she wanted books about girls like her and her friends and family.
