Pernille Ripp is formerly a fourth and fifth grade English teacher whose mission has always been to help students discover their superpower. Now a seventh-grade English teacher in Oregon, Wisconsin, she is also the creator of the Global Read Aloud Project, a global literacy initiative that has connected more than four million students. Additionally, she opens up her educational practices to the world on her blog pernillesripp.com. An internationally known educational speaker, she is also the author of several education books, including her 2017 release titled Passionate Readers: The Art of Reaching and Engaging Every Child.
