A BOOK Fair is more than a pop—up bookstore in your schoo|—it's a chance to create a

Ideas and Best Practices: /

Reward students you catch reading outside of regularly scheduled times. Give them a Caught Reading ticket,

redeemable for a prize at the Book Fair. Download it from the Toolkit. Fair Files keyword: READING TICKET

Invite people from your community into the school to read aloud stories during the Fair.

Select Junior Crew members to become booklalking bookwalkers. Have them visit classrooms

and share booktalks. Find booktaik preview packs in the online Scholastic Dollars” Cara/og.

Ask teachers to post their book recommendations in and outside their classroom.
