Book Fair Preview
Give your teachers and volunteers a sneak peek of the Book Fair.
Benef its
• Allows time for teachers to make Classroom Wish List selections
• Gives staff and volunteers the inside scoop on book titles to share with students
• Helps volunteers familiarize themselves with the Fair and their roles

• Use the Fair Planner in the Toolkit to coordinate
event details and keep you on task.
• Plan your Preview during a time that is suitable for most or all faculty members.
• Don’t forget the principal and other staff members!
• Advertise the Preview with items found in your Planning Kit: Book Fair Preview Poster, Preview Invitation/Shelf-Talker, and more.*
• Hang the Book Fair Preview poster in the faculty lounge.
• Ask Junior Crew members to deliver invites to teachers.
• Encourage 100 percent teacher participation in the Classroom Wish List. See page 16 for details.
• Feed them and they will come!
• Offer door or raffle prizes to teachers, paid for with
Scholastic DollarsTM.
• Play podcasts during the Preview: scholastic.com/
