Classroom Wish List
Encourage teachers to choose books for their classroom libraries.
Benefits
• Gives teachers a simple way to build and refresh classroom libraries
• Gives all students easier access to books they love
• Gives parents, volunteers, and students the opportunity to support their teacher

GREAT Ideas
• Award prizes to teachers if 100 percent of them participate
in the Classroom Wish List program.
• Let students help choose the books they want to have in their classroom library. Give them the power of choice — they’ll be more excited to read when they’ve picked books they like.
• Remind teachers they can also create a Classroom Wish List on the Online Fair*.
• Advertise the Classroom Wish List using social media.
• If teachers miss the Book Fair Preview, use pre-populated donation slips that list elementary school choices perfect for classroom libraries. Place them into the teachers’ book donation slip pockets. Toolkit keyword: DONATION SLIP
