GREAT Ideas
• Invite grandparents, relatives, aunts or uncles, neighbors, or devoted caregivers. They are eager to participate but often get overlooked.
• Keep the food simple: punch, sandwiches, and fruit. As an alternative, host a breakfast event with donuts and coffee.
• Have a photo op so loved ones can have pictures with their student.
• Plan grandparent visits for different days of the week instead of holding one big event. Try grouping visits by classes or grade levels.
p Book ’em. Have shoppers fill out Grand Event bookplates for books they purchase. Find them in the Planning Kit.**

the Book Fair!
