• Plan a faculty member wacky stunt or award the students a special privilege when your school meets its goal as part of the What Would You Do for Reading?® challenge-and-reward program.
• Wacky ideas include: Wear a cow costume, duct tape a faculty member to the wall, or slime the principal.

Kalida Elementary School
Kalida, OH
As part of their What Would You Do for Reading? campaign, the principal at Kalida Elementary School agreed to dress as a pirate and kiss a real cow
if students read a total of 10,000 min- utes! The motivation worked and kids surpassed the initial goal so quickly that they brought the school’s beloved janitor in on it!
